Yes, so that saying is pretty cliche and probably overused, but it really is true.
Let's face it, doing certain activities can make you drag your feet and wish you were somewhere else doing anything else. However, certain things happen and plans fall through, and as a result, you have to go and do it.
I was asked to go to a mountain music festival of sorts for our show. Although I am from the country and do enjoy country music, I'm not a huge fan of bluegrass and folky type music. I wasn't that excited about it, but I thought to myself it couldn't be that bad.
And it wasn't. It wasn't what I expected at all. It was actually probably the most fun I've had a shoot in awhile. I caught myself tappin' my foot to the beat, interacting with the customers, and just having a good time myself.
I guess since I was in a good mood, my creativity started to flow. Not to toot my own horn (beep beep!), but I got some decent shots, some of which I wouldn't have gotten if I didn't stay as long as I did just to listen to the music. Like the one below!
